Eleven Management and Parlophone wanted to create a digital space where fans could stream Gorillaz’s new album, Cracker Island, while exploring exclusive content in line with the band’s aesthetic and ecosystem. We developed a 3D-rendered 360° room microsite inspired by the Eames-style house featured in the Cracker Island promotional artwork. Fans could stream the album while exploring the now-deserted room, which was filled with thematic elements tied to Cracker Island.
Interactive hotspot objects unlocked exclusive content, including artwork, behind-the-scenes videos and limited-edition merch drops, creating an immersive fan experience. To deepen engagement, the microsite featured a 24-hour Discord integration that allowed fans to connect, share their thoughts and discuss the new album in real time.
